Bus Route Diversions

A series of weekend and evening closures will take place on Leeman Rd commencing Friday 10th January. These closures are required as part of the York Central highway works.

During the closure periods:

• No bus services will be able to call at Carleton Street or the National Railway Museum.
• A replacement shuttle bus service, numbered 10S, will connect the Salisbury Terrace and Kingsland Terrace areas with the city centre. This service will be operated by York Pullman, running every 30 minutes during daytimes and hourly during evenings.
• All other routes which normally serve Leeman Rd will divert either via Poppleton Rd or Bootham.

Closure dates are as follows:

• Fri 10th Jan at 21:00 until Mon 13th Jan at 06:00;
• Fri 17th Jan at 21:00 until Mon 20th Jan at 06:00;
• Weeknights from Mon 20th Jan until Thu 23rd Jan, overnight from 19:30 to 06:00;
• Fri 24th Jan at 21:00 until Mon 27th Jan at 06:00;
• Weeknights from Mon 27th Jan until Thu 6th Feb, overnight from 19:30 to 06:00;
• Fri 7th Feb at 21:00 until Mon 10th Feb at 06:00;
• Weeknights from Mon 10th Feb until Fri 14th Feb, overnight from 19:30 to 06:00;
• Weeknights from Tue 18th Feb until Thu 20th Feb, overnight from 19:30 to 06:00.

Shuttle service 10S

• This service will connect Clifford St, Low Ousegate/Micklegate, Rougier St, York Station, Blossom St, Salisbury Road and Kingsland Terrace.

Fri 10th Jan, Fri 17th Jan, Fri 24th Jan and Fri 7th Feb:

• Departs Clifford St at 21:00 and 22:00
• Departs Kingsland Terrace at 21:14 and 22:14

Sat 11th Jan, Sat 18th Jan, Sat 25th Jan and Sat 8th Feb:

• Departs Clifford St at 07:00, 08:00, then every 30 mins until 19:00, 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00
• Departs Kingsland Terrace at 07:14, 08:14 then every 30 mins until 19:14, 20:14, 21:14 and 22:14

Sun 12th Jan, Sun 19th Jan, Sun 26th Jan and Sun 9th Feb:

• Departs Clifford St at 08:00, then every 30 mins until 19:00, 20:00
• Departs Kingsland Terrace at 08:14, then every 30 mins until 19:14, 20:14

Other weeknights as per the list above:

• Departs Clifford St at 22:00, 21:00 and 22:00
• Departs Kingsland Terrace at 20:14, 21:24 and 22:14

10S buses depart from York Station 4 minutes after Clifford St.
